Ahh the summertime! The perfect time of year to take the family to the local zoo and marvel at all the wonders that nature has to offer. Our family recently visited the nearby travel zoo, and let me tell you, it was a trip that none of us will soon forget.
As soon as we entered, we were immediately in awe of the beautiful, exotic animals that surrounded us. Giraffes, monkeys, kangaroos, and even lions! It felt as though we were exploring the wilderness from the safety of the zoo grounds<
As we ventured around the different enclosures, our senses were inundated with all sorts of sights, sounds, and smells - from the tall trees and lush foliage, to the pungent aromas of animal manure!
The kids had a blast as they discovered a world that was new and exciting to them. The highlight of our visit was definitely the hands-on petting area, where the kids got to meet and touch some of the animals up close.>
